Thanks for a lovely weekend in a lovely charming cottage-just what we wanted and expected from a Lakeland cottage.

We’ve had such a lovely time. The cottage is great, especially the cosy log fire which came into its own when it snowed and we’d just come in from sledging.

We have all really enjoyed this beautiful cottage. We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday bringing him back to where he had many great childhood memories having visited Cartmel and the Lake District a lot as a boy. It has been a very good choice bringing back great memories.
The cottage is charming, cosy and all we could have wished for especially the log fire.

What a lovely welcoming and comfortable cottage with excellent facilities.
Having stayed in numerous cottages this is by far the best we have had the pleasure of staying in. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the cottage was very clean.
To other visitors:- Do take the opportunity to visit Low Sizergh Barn farm shop, you won’t be disappointed! We also thought the Kings Arms pub in Cartmel was very good and the Royal Oak (Cartmel) was fab! – The Conolly’s, Leeds

Thank you Simon! We all had an excellent time in Carree Cottage and we found the cottage itself to be very comfortable and inviting.
The walks around the village were delightful! The proximity to the Engine Inn (the local pub), the bus stop and the railway station are fantastic assets. The public transportation allowed my parents to “escape” on their own for great days out whilst we went walking in the mountains. Lovely cottage, lovely holiday, great weather, great location!

Another lovely week in 1 of your beautiful cottages-so cosy and so well equipped, peaceful & quiet for the adults with great walks for the dog and lots to do for the children.
The kids loved the ‘Tree Top Trek at Brockhole. We loved this cottage just as much as Grange End Cottage where we stayed earlier in the year – The Ridgley family, Cheshire

A lovely week in a lovely cottage. Comfy beds, sofa and chairs making it all a very pleasant experience.
We are all relaxed and chilled out now after some lovely gentle walks with our dog who has really enjoyed splashing in the rivers and lakes.
