IF YOU LOVE THE LAKE DISTRICT
you’ll love our cottages…
Holiday Cottages Cumbria is a small independent, family run business located in Cartmel, Cumbria. We have six gorgeous, carefully selected, Lake District cottages.
Updated 24th February 2021
Due to the current lockdown, our gorgeous Lake District cottages are currently closed until the 12th of April.
12th April – 16th May
Visitors are allowed to stay away from their home overnight in self-catering holiday cottages.
You are only allowed to stay with members of your own household or support bubble.
17th May – 21st June
Two households of any size will be able to stay overnight together. We also believe that a group of six people from multiple households will be able to stay overnight together.
From the 21st of June
If the Government’s targets are met, all legal limits on social contact are to end. There will then be no limits on the number of people and households that can enjoy a holiday in the wonderful Lake District! 😀
We are registered to allow bookings from ‘Key Workers’ during the lockdown. Please email us to discuss.
For new and existing bookings from the 12th of April onwards, we will still refund you in full if UK Government or local UK government travel or lockdown restrictions prevent you from travelling to the property you’ve booked with us, excludes our 1.4% booking fee
