Holiday Cottages Cumbria is a small independent, family run business located in Cartmel, Cumbria. We have six gorgeous, carefully selected, Lake District cottages.

12th April – 17th May

Hurray, our gorgeous holiday cottages are now open again.

The Government’s rules for overnight stays (or longer) are:-

1 household plus support bubble can stay in self-catering accommodation.

17th May – 21st June

Two households of any size will be able to stay overnight together. Groups of 6 people from multiple households will be able to stay overnight together.

From the 21st of June

If the Government’s targets are met, all legal limits on social contact are to end. There will then be no limits on the number of people and households that can enjoy a holiday in the wonderful Lake District! 😀

For all new and existing bookings, we will still refund you in full if UK Government or local UK government travel or lockdown restrictions prevent you from travelling to the property you’ve booked with us, excludes our 1.4% booking fee

Holiday Cottages Cumbria has 5 luxury Lake District cottages for your self-catering holiday or short break in the English Lake District. Our gorgeous holiday cottages are located in Cartmel village, Cark in Cartmel and near Coniston Water.

Our village and hamlet locations are perfect settings for you to enjoy your self-catering holiday or short break in the English Lake District.

Each one of our cottages has bags of character and something very special to offer. Five of our holiday cottages have real log fires and oak beams and all of our cottages have private, enclosed gardens.

Our self-catering holiday cottages are located in the picturesque villages of Cartmel, Cark in Cartmel and Nibthwaite near Coniston Water

Our holiday cottage locations provide easy access to the famous lakes of Windermere, Coniston, Grasmere, Derwent Water & Ullswater.

We provide all of our guests with lots of local information so you can experience the best of village & rural life and have a great holiday or short break in the Lake District
