As dog owners ourselves, we know how difficult it can be to find high-end pet-friendly cottages. We spend extra time preparing each cottage to ensure it is perfectly clean and fresh, with secure, enclosed gardens at every cottage for your total peace of mind and relaxation.
Dog-Friendly Walks and Countryside
Dogs deserve a holiday too. The Lake District offers an endless variety of walks and places to enjoy walking your dog, from the vast sands around Morecambe Bay to the thousands of fell trails in the Lake District National Park, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Lake District is exceptionally welcoming to dogs. Most local pubs welcome dogs and children alike, often offering treats and a warm welcome at the bar.

- Standard Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 dogs per booking.
- Pet Fees: £20 for 1 dog or £30 for 2 dogs. This fee covers our intensive deep-cleaning process.
- Local Walks Folder: Every cottage includes a hand-picked folder of our favourite local walks, including one or two routes that start straight from your doorstep.
- Dog-Friendly Pubs & Cafes: We also provide our top recommendations for local pubs and places to eat that offer a warm Lake District welcome to you and your dog(s).
