5 Star Review on VRBO
We had a fantastic stay at Charcoal House and couldn’t fault anything.
The house itself is clean and comfortable and luxurious – it was perfect for our family of 6. We enjoyed coffees on the balcony and dinner in the garden! It is in a peaceful location, perfectly located to explore Coniston and the South Lakes.
We particularly enjoyed making the most of the recommendations and walks straight from the house – the one straight up the hill was ideal for us and our young family.
The host, Simon, was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. He ensured we had all the details we needed for our stay and he provided additional recommendations during our stay too (great walks and also a fantastic local bakery and ice cream shop we’d also recommend).
It was a perfect stay for us. We are already trying to plan when we can stay again next year in the hope we can stay longer! – Victoria Raven
