Had a fabulous day in this beautiful house.
The weather was hot and sunny all week, perfect! Stunning location and great walks from the doorstep.
All the local pubs are worth a visit for food and drink.

Fantastic house with beautiful views.

Thank you all once again for another brilliant break at this fabulous house.
Once again we loved every minute. Joined this time by our son John, wife Lyn and daughter Isla who all were also wowed by it. Action packed few days!
Good meal at The Cavendish and civilised afternoon tea at Gillams Tearooms in Ulverston amongst many highlights.

We have had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house. It has been the perfect place to celebrate Jim’s 70th birthday!

Thank you for a wonderful time spent here in this beautiful house in a spectacular valley celebrating my 60th birthday.
We had family here the first week and enjoyed eating out at L’Enclume and Rogan & Co. Friends arrived for the second week and we have enjoyed the beautiful countryside and done many walks with lovely weather most days. Five of us also climbed Scafell on a beautiful sunny day.

“What a fantastic cottage”
All I can say is wow. This cottage was breath taking including the views.
We had 9 adults staying in this cottage and not once did anyone feel in anyone’s way. Loads of room, bedrooms were amazing. Spotlessly clean everything you needed. Bathrooms were outstanding.
I like the upside-down living accommodation, it made sense when you saw the views right over to Morecambe Bay.
Lovely outside sitting area including a stunning gazebo which was heated, had lighting a fridge and plenty of seating. It was covered in case it got chilly on a night. My daughter and niece used this space to meditate and chill away from the noisy family. We have been to three of Simon’s cottages now and not once have we been disappointed.
