We had a fabulous holiday again at Sawmill Cottage. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. No northern lights this year but the beautiful weather compensated for that.

“Easter family break”
Lovely property just south of Coniston Water. Property is amazing and ideal for our group of two families as the property’s upstairs rooms split 2 and 2 from separate staircases.
Location is remote, but there is a Booth’s in Ulverston to stock up at (and other supermarkets).
We had a dog with us and we made good use of the garden … the river at the rear is idyllic and she enjoyed paddling in it! – Richard

The cottage was a lovely, clean, cosy home and we all really enjoyed it. We will be returning there in the near future.
We ate at the Yewdale Inn in Coniston and also took a trip to lake Windermere.
