We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage!
The beds were comfy and we loved sitting at the kitchen bar for breakfast. We really like your Christmas decorations.
We went to the bakery and the food was good.
We will come back very soon at the very nice cottage – Luke & Sophie aged 7 with Mummy and Daddy Fitzgerald

First visit to this cosy cottage which is homely and has everything we need.
It even has a cot, changing mat and highchair which is brilliant!
Very clean and well presented. Loved exploring Grange & Cartmel. Fantastic bakery!

A delightfully, unexpected return visit so soon after our last one!
This was thanks to my sister who had booked to stay but couldn’t make it at the last minute, so we were happy to step in and oblige. It was my birthday too, so it was lovely to come and stay in this fab cottage; all nicely decorated for Christmas!
Had a great visit to ‘Chesters By The River’ at Skelwith Bridge and a beautiful walk with Nellie the dog. A fab evening meal at the Cavendish Arms in Cartmel, which looked beautiful at this time of year rounded off our short but wonderful stay.
Thanks again – Helen, Alan with Nellie the dog

A lovely stay at the beautiful Bridgelands Cottage, felt at home as soon as we walked through the door.
Walked into Cartmel and to Morecambe Bay.
Took the steam train from Haverthwaite to Lakeside, then the boat over to Fell Foot for a walk around with our dog Bonnie. Fish and chips from Flounders.
Had a drink at the local pub. Had amazing homemade pizzas from Fat Flour, the bakery around the corner.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Pig and Whistle.
Everywhere we went our dog Bonnie who was welcome even in the village shop. Everyone was friendly and we couldn’t have asked for more.
Slightly better weather would have great but it didn’t stop us from having a brilliant time, just wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for having us – Gill, Jack, Ruby & Bonnie the dog

Our second visit to this cosy and quirky cottage (but not our last).
Two great walks, one of which into Cartmel. The weather was dry all weekend too.
We only had one meal out as we cooked everything here – great facilities – and ate dinner in front of the fire – perfect.
The bedroom here is lovely and comfy. Had a great time as usual – my sister visited on the Sunday and fell in love with this place too and has already booked her own visit in three weeks time so I suppose that says all you need to hear about this property!
Great service as ever from Simon and the team – counting the days until we return – Shona, Gray with Dusty, Clayton-Le-Woods

Like a lot of previous guest we didn’t cook anything as there are so many places to eat out… Great!

We have really enjoyed our week in The Lakes.
A great cottage for the four of us – clean, comfortable and warm.
The Fat Flour bakery is highly recommended for bread, cakes and pizza – all delicious!
The walk from Grange-over-Sands to Cartmel was lovely.
