Holiday Cottages Cumbria.com is owned, managed, and run by Simon Cleasby with the help of a team of hard working housekeepers, and maintenance staff.

Simon is a very knowledgeable local Cumbrian (nee Westmorland) with an huge passion for the Lake District and Cumbria. Simon travelled and worked his way around the different continents for a few years before coming back to live in the South Lakes in 2002 and is keen to share his knowledge of this wonderful local area. He takes great pride in offering a quality of service rarely found these days.

Simon has put together a folder for each cottage containing many of his favourite walks and drives around the Lake District and also included details of many of the great tourist attractions found throughout Cumbria as well as details of some of his favourite places to eat, drink and buy great local produce.

We are very passionate about our local Lakeland and North Lancashire produce and buy the majority of our fresh, seasonal produce direct from the wonderful local suppliers, farmers and farm shops we have in the area. We will send you a list of our favourites before the start of your holiday, many of which are included on our links page too.
